Effect of Volcanic Eruption in Ireland has started to show in New York City. Travel Disruption by Volcanic Eruption could cost $250 M to New York Tourism.

Volcanic Ash is has shut down all major airports in Europe, which is costing heavily to New York City as foreign tourists makes up half of the tourism spending in city.

City officials are estimating more than 100,000 tourists has been lost in this period which cost the city $250 Million. Generally is April more than 12,000 tourists visit the city. However officials also believe that city is more than likely to make up for the loses. They expect all tourists who has canceled their plans will visit New York City later in the year.

There are still several tourists strangled at the John F Kennedy airport in New York City. People are forced to sleep at the airport for last 5 days. However they seems to be very pleased with the arrangements made by Airport and City officials. New York City hotels also offered discounts to tourists stuck in City due to Volcanic Eruption.
