Hotel Missoni Opens in Kuwait

Luxury hotelier Ian Schrager has launched a new hotel chain in Chicago, promising a “revitalization of the hotel industry.”
Ian Schrager, credited by some as the creator of the boutique hotel with the launch of Morgans Hotel New York in 1984, is already working on his new brand ‘Edition’ with Marriott but launched ‘Public’ May 23.
As the name suggests, Public is designed to be inclusive, rather than exclusive, with the new company saying that it combines elements of luxury and boutique properties with the best of the “limited service” model.

This hotel offers luxurious rooms & suites with panoramic sea views. It features a jacuzzi, fitness center and an outdoor pool. It provides limousine airport shuttle service. Souq Salmiya is 3 km away. Hotel Missoni Kuwait’s rooms feature an interior décor by professional designers. Each air-conditioned room has a Bang & Olufsen satellite TV, a tea & espresso coffee maker and deluxe bathroom amenities in the en suite bathroom. Hotel Missoni serves Italian delicacies and Arabic dishes in the 3 different on-site restaurants. Guest can also order a wholesome à la carte breakfast or dinner to their rooms. The hotel features an on-site spa operated by Six Senses providing a variety of beauty treatments. Other hotel services include dry cleaning, guest laundry and hair dresser. Hotel Missoni Kuwait is less than 5 minutes’ drive away from the beachside cafés and restaurants in Salmiya.
